Astrid the Housesheep - 4 months later

Lambs in totes. A typical winter thing on a farm with sheep. I was told bottle babies remember forever. She will always have a place here. Because she's the best ambassador. a great test sheep, and I can ALWAYS get my hands on her to treat her and make sure she's healthy. Here she is in her playpen for the first week till her legs straightened out. And then out in the pasture after she rejoined the flock. The purple stuff is blu-kote antiseptic wound spray because she just ripped her ear tag out rubbing her face against the fence. Can't wait to see how her babies turn out. Because other sheep and kids in our flocks had the same selenium deficiency as she did at birth, we now will supplement ALL pregnant moms.
