TOP QUALITY, TRAINED, PRODUCTIVE DAIRY GOATS

Our Dairy Goat Mission: to produce healthy long-lived quality milker goats for discerning clientele - mostly homesteaders and smallholder famsteads.  Our breeding program prioritizes health and resilience in our animals - no one wants to have a sickly animal. I select goats with long lactations, sweet tasting milk with high milkfat and zero goatiness taste. It is my program to keep my does in milk year-round for my family, lambs, local veterinary practice, local orphan animals, and herdshare program. I do not breed every year - I don't have to. This lengthens the productive lifespan of our milkers and keeps their udders in better condition through the years. We are performance over papers although we have both registered and non-registered stock.  My program has produced premium quality working girls to clients. It also means we don't sell goats as often as other breeders. Anyone can breed goats and sell cute kids with papers but questionable physical health. I sell yearlings so you can see how they have matured. My yearlings are trained to the milk stand and ready to be bred within 6 months.  We have a closed herd, and are tested and CAE/ CL/Johnes/Brucellosis free.

Yearling Dairy Doe "Lapis" - SOLD

Deep bodied, stellar confirmation. Unregistered solid producer. Big bodied and sturdy muscular body type. Lapis like a table: all 4 legs on the corners. You know how some skinny kids look like they have both their front legs coming out of a single spot under their chest? Not this gal.  She's a sleek amazon. Born May 2024, probably 80 lbs at 11 months old. Her momma was a gallon-per-day milker and 160 lbs, the queen bee in my herd. The does on both sides of her bloodlines have lactations that last for 3 years.  Will deliver within 50 miles of Columbus Ohio. $500
