We make these on our farm because we got tired of losing the black plastic ties that come with electronet. They disappear in tall grass (see pic). They snag in brush (see pic). They are impossible to untie when they're wet or frozen. After losing a LOT of these, we started cutting bright paracord to length, sealing the ends, and using those instead. After a full grazing season of testing, we're selling them. The Grazier's Tie is 4 feet 4" of American-made paracord, bright enough to spot in pasture, sealed at both ends so they won't fray, and UV resistant for full-sun summers. They work with friction knots that hold under tension and release when you want them to. Scan the QR code on your package for a short tutorial from our farm on the knots we use. Each tie costs us a little more to make than the cheap black fraying ones ones. We think you'll find they earn it back the first time you don't have to crawl through a brush line or in your mower blades, looking for the one you dropped. Made by hand at Fair Hill Farm in central Ohio.

Why do we have so MANY bright colors?  Sure it's for your enjoyment and expression.  But there's utility too.  Here at Fair Hill we mark certain "problem" fence sections and different length fence sections with different colors so we can see at a glance which fence section is which!  And yes, we *intentionally* have made them bright for all-weather visibility.
