WE, Kathryn Diefenbach of Fairhill Farm,
The seller contracts to the following:
1. The seller will provide the buyer with a healthy, purebred standard poodle puppy eligible for registration with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and the American Kennel Club (AKC)
2. Prior to leaving Fairhill Farm the animal will be examined by a veterinarian and immunized for communicable diseases at the discretion of the veterinarian. A health certificate with recommendations for ongoing veterinary care will be provided with the puppy. The puppy will be dewormed prior to leaving the breeder.
3. The puppy will have a microchip implanted for identification and will be included in the CKC database for recovery if the animal is lost or stolen. The buyer will be provided with information on the microchip registry.
4. The seller will provide a CKC registration certificate and a 3-generation pedigree to the buyer within six months of the sale of the animal.
5. All reasonable measures have been taken to insure that the puppy is healthy and is free from the inheritable diseases commonly known to affect standard poodles. Although it is not possible to screen the puppy for these diseases the parents and grandparents of the animal have been tested and are known to be free of the common genetic diseases that afflict standard poodles.
6. The seller will refund the full purchase price, less shipping expenses, if within six months of sale the buyer decides that, for any reason, he does not want to keep the animal.
7. If the animal is certified by a veterinarian to be suffering from a genetic condition which is directly related to the breeding of the animal, the dog can be returned at any time for a full refund of the purchase price, less the shipping expenses.
8. If at any time the buyer decides not to keep the animal it is expected that the seller will be notified and that the seller will accept the return of the animal at a price to be negotiated.

The buyer contracts to the following:
1. Upon signing of this agreement the buyer will pay the full amount of the purchase price.
2. If applicable, the buyer will pay an advance on the shipping expenses. This amount includes a deposit on the shipping crate. When the crate is returned any amount over the cost of the actual shipping expenses will be refunded. There is no charge for ground transportation to the airport or expenses incurred in arranging the transportation of the puppy.
3. As a courtesy to the buyer the seller will endeavor to have the call name chosen by the buyer incorporated into the official CKC registered name of the dog. There is no contract between the seller and the buyer that the dog’s official CKC Registration Certificate will reflect the name choice of the buyer.
4. The buyer agrees to keep the animal adequately groomed, in good health and appropriately immunized and treated for parasites under the supervision of a veterinarian.
5. If there is any problem concerning the welfare of the animal the buyer agrees to contact the breeder, and that should the buyer decide to no longer keep the animal the breeder will be notified and given a first option to purchase the dog.
